ISO 10001:2007 Certification
Customer Satisfaction Codes of Conduct
ISO 10001:2007 gives organisations guidance on planning, designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and improving a customer satisfaction code of conduct – the promises an organisation makes to its customers about its own behaviour, covering areas such as product delivery, returns, advertising and the handling of customer information. International Assessment Bureau carries out independent assessment against this guidance to give your customers and partners confidence in the commitments you make to them.
What ISO 10001:2007 Covers
Customer Promises
Guidance for drafting a code of conduct that sets out clear, honest promises to customers about product delivery, returns and handling of their personal information.
Any Organisation
Applies to organisations of any type, size and product offering, including those that design codes of conduct for use by other organisations.
Fair Trade Practice
Addresses issues such as advertising and particular claims made about a product's attributes or performance.
Guidance, Not a Management System
ISO 10001:2007 is a guidance document rather than a management system standard – it does not change any rights or obligations under statutory or regulatory requirements.

About ISO 10001:2007
International Assessment Bureau is an independent certification body based in the UK. ISO 10001:2007 guides the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of customer satisfaction codes of conduct, and applies to product-related codes containing promises made to customers about an organisation's own behaviour. It does not prescribe the substantive content of such codes, and it does not address other types of codes of conduct, such as those governing an organisation's relationship with its personnel or suppliers.
ISO 10001:2007 is itself a guidance document: it is not intended for certification or contractual purposes, and it does not change any rights or obligations arising from applicable statutory or regulatory requirements. Where an organisation wants independent, third-party assessment of its customer satisfaction code of conduct against this guidance, International Assessment Bureau carries out that assessment.
