Background

About BS 10119:2026

International Assessment Bureau is an independent certification body based in the UK. BS 10119:2026 was published by BSI on 30 June 2026 and replaces the former NSI Code of Practice 119 (NCP 119), setting out good practice for organisations that supply labour into the security and events sector.

BSI itself issues no certification or conformity test directly - it develops the standard through a consensus-based process involving technical committees and industry experts. Certification against BS 10119:2026 is carried out by certification bodies such as International Assessment Bureau. If you would like to know more about certifying your organisation, or about transitioning from NCP 119, get in touch with our team.
